It was incongruity, other than repugnance towards systematicity, that suggested me to write these short pieces.

Removing the logical principle of cause and effect leads to the unpredictable multiplication of invisible links through which it becomes possible to guess realities that may indeed be atrocious or banal.

Although it may be useless and maybe even offensive to reveal, sound is the only premise and the only conclusion that both ties together and divides these three pieces, the only logic that underlies the incoherence.

Sense without language rather than language without sense, where in its flame sign consumes itself entirely revealing to the listener nothing more and nothing less than sound.

At least in the hope that this music will be able to break free of the oppressing descriptive schematism of a program note.
