This piece is part of a cycle of works for piano, an instrument with which I share a

physical relationship, that I can consider an extension of my fingers - prolongation and limit of my imagination - allowing me to touch sound.

Here, the sound emerges instead from the absence of contact, as if it were being

evoked in a ritual of syntonization.

It is an act of love, an exploration of a further dimension of intimacy between myself and the instrument with which I grew up, in an attempt to define a secret language that belongs only to the two of us.

The piano asks, the piano responds. The sound of the piano is the sound from the piano.
